The Tranquilo Traveler
The Tranquilo Traveler is a celebration of voluntourism, slow travel, and other interesting ways to see the world. Travel writer and award- winning Moon Handbooks author Joshua Berman created The Tranquilo Travel as a resource for world trippers and international volunteers, a window to the author’s travels in Nicaragua, Belize, and beyond, and an update of his books and articles.

There is so much learning that we get when we expose ourselves to others.” READ THE ARTICLE->

So what was the decision, I think it could be hard with real young ones. Still, I believe that quote, no matter what the experience ends up being I think it will always be truly positive.

Yes, go! There’s nothing I’d rather do than travel with my kids. Sometimes crazy stuff happens, you’ve got to make adjustments and accomodations for them, but it’s so worth it.
