Just as an arctic cold front descends on Colorado, canceling the false spring of the last few weeks, I’m heading south. I depart Denver International on Thursday, land in Managua that evening, si Dios quiere … I’ll be traveling a chunk of Nicaragua, working crazy hours, but will try to share some shots and stories if I get a chance. See you down there.

My bags are mostly filled with guidebooks (mostly for gifts), and baby clothes and toys for my Nica family in Ticuantepe. Found the cheap balls and gloves in thrift shops.
