The Tranquilo Traveler
The Tranquilo Traveler is a celebration of voluntourism, slow travel, and other interesting ways to see the world. Travel writer and award- winning Moon Handbooks author Joshua Berman created The Tranquilo Travel as a resource for world trippers and international volunteers, a window to the author’s travels in Nicaragua, Belize, and beyond, and an update of his books and articles.
Commission original travel art from round-the-world sketch-a-holic Todd Berman, currently in southeast Asia …
A message from Todd:
Hello, art lovers! I’m in Vietnam now; over four months into an around-the-world adventure with Lauren … The sketchbook is still an ever-present companion. I brought it with me to a Berber camp in the Sahara Desert, a Ramazan music festival in Istanbul, the Pushkar camel fair in India, and to the Mekong Delta in Vietnam. See me in action, along with locals’ reactions, in photos here. All the art I’ve made during my round-the-world the trip can be found at TheArtDontStop on Flickr.
Most of this art is for sale. Remember - art makes for a truly unique gift. There are 3 ways to buy original art from around the world:
1. Buy a finished drawing - If you like any art on the Flickr set and there’s a price listed below the image, it’s for sale! Email me (Todd@TheArtDontStop.org) to make an order - first come, first served. Prices include shipping.
2. Commission a drawing from the road - Click here to read how easy it is to custom order some art. Here are examples from Granada, Barcelona and Cappadoccia. Order immediately for a drawing from north Vietnam or Laos.
3. Queue up for an art postcard - For just $25, I’ll mail you a postcard with an original drawing on the front and a travel story hand-written by Lauren on the back. See other postcards in the art section of Ephemerratic.com.
