The Tranquilo Traveler

The Tranquilo Traveler is a celebration of voluntourism, slow travel, and other interesting ways to see the world. issue3home.gifI just ordered a free trial copy of Everywhere magazine, a World 2.0 travel rag, for which I have high hopes, though I’ve never participated in their online travelers network. They claim: “You’ve never seen a travel magazine like this before. We’re different because each issue of Everywhere is created by the world’s largest and most experienced staff of travel experts: our readers!” I can personally see that going either way, but I’ll certainly give ‘em a chance. BoingBoing called the magazine “inspiring,” after all.

Pssst. Since your “about” page says you’re interested in slow travel, please email me your address, and I’ll personally make sure you get a copy of the current issue of Everywhere ASAP. “Slow Travel” is our cover story!

You’re absolutely right that a magazine like this could go either way. That’s why I make sure it goes the right way. Hope you’ll agree.

Cheers!
