Here are some specific ways to help an excellent library project in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua:
“Financial contributions to the Hester J. Hodgdon Libraries for all Program go a long way. Your gift — in any amount — is multiplied ten-fold when it is invested in our program.”

  • $50, which will buy new children’s books
  • $100, which will buy new children’s books and a month’s worth of art supplies
  • $150, which will pay for a month of English classes for children in the community
  • $250, which will cover the total operating expenses of the mobile project for one month
  • $350, which will buy one library in a box start-up kit (not including books )
  • $500, which will provide 5 months worth of books and supplies
  • $1000, which will cover the total operating expenses of the lending library for one month
