The Tranquilo Traveler
The Tranquilo Traveler is a celebration of voluntourism, slow travel, and other interesting ways to see the world. Travel writer and award- winning Moon Handbooks author Joshua Berman created The Tranquilo Travel as a resource for world trippers and international volunteers, a window to the author’s travels in Nicaragua, Belize, and beyond, and an update of his books and articles.
Be a Vagabond: Free Stickers from Rolf
Travel writer Rolf Potts is offering free stickers over at vagablogging.net. If you’re not sure what “VGB” would mean if slapped onto your laptop, LandCruiser, or Harley, then take a look at this post entitled “Vagabonding And The Art Of Slow Travel.” From Rolf’s book, Vagabonding: “The value of your travels does not hinge on how many stamps you have in your passport when you get home — and the slow, nuanced experience of a single country is always better than the hurried, superficial experience of forty countries.” Put that in your pipe and smoke it while planing your next Round-the-World journey.
