As comfortable as our new home is, with its wind-swept wonderland out the back patio door, it’s difficult to imagine staying longer than a year or two. This is out of habit, a transient’s mindset, trying to be still.

However long Colorado will keep us, the simple pleasure of having somewhere to come back to after yet another trip to either coast or to Central America, is enough.

The snow whips around with the sunshine and I know that, if I want to, I can go out into it. Or I can stay inside and, for once, not go anywhere.

You’ve got me curious. Where in Colorado? I was trying to ID your new home from the pix, kept changing my guesses and in the end, couldn’t be sure.
