The Tranquilo Traveler
The Tranquilo Traveler is a celebration of voluntourism, slow travel, and other interesting ways to see the world. Travel writer and award- winning Moon Handbooks author Joshua Berman created The Tranquilo Travel as a resource for world trippers and international volunteers, a window to the author’s travels in Nicaragua, Belize, and beyond, and an update of his books and articles.
Moon Handbooks Nicaragua picks up first award

I’m pleased and proud to announce that the latest edition of Moon Handbooks Nicaragua, which I co-wrote with Randy Wood, has been selected for the Award for Best Travel Writing in the 2006 Peace Corps Writers Awards. In other news, there are 11 new books by Peace Corps Writers. In a few weeks, Randy and I will join that list when Living Abroad In Nicaragua ships to bookstore shelves across the country.
