My brother, Artist Todd Berman, is getting lots of attention for his innovative upcoming (July 20) exhibit in a “gritty” San Francisco neighborhood. “The Art Don’t Stop on 6th Street” will be featured in the San Francisco Chronicle this Thursday. He’s also getting play in Flavorpill and is a “pick of the week” in the Bay Gaurdian. Budget Gallery reports:

Todd calls it “an experiment in how an artist can serve the community.” Todd will be working with community organizations and other locals he meets to create collaborative self-portraits of the neighborhood. He will also be creating a series of twenty drawings, each one about a different business or organization within a two block radius.
