The Tranquilo Traveler
The Tranquilo Traveler is a celebration of voluntourism, slow travel, and other interesting ways to see the world. Travel writer and award- winning Moon Handbooks author Joshua Berman created The Tranquilo Travel as a resource for world trippers and international volunteers, a window to the author’s travels in Nicaragua, Belize, and beyond, and an update of his books and articles.
TVs, Bicycles, and Transitions Abroad
As you continue to celebrate TV TURNOFF WEEK and get over your Earth Day hangover, I invite you to pick up a copy of this month’s Transitions Abroad magazine, which features an interview with me and my coauthor, Randy Wood.
In other news, my brother, Todd Berman, was selected as the 2006 San Francisco County Bike Commuter of the Year! Biking to work every day — now that’s Tranquilo Travelin’.
Way to go, “Mr. Shark.”
