On the same morning that Randy and I submit our 350-page book manuscript to our editors in California (whew!), our interview with PeaceCorpsWriters.org goes live.

The interview was conducted by editor John Coyne, who along with publisher Marian Haley Beil (both Peace Corps Ethiopia 1962–64), provide a wonderful service by linking together the 700 or so published writers who also served in the Peace Corps.

If you’re interested, Randy and I talk about the history of our collaboration, the making of Moon Handbooks Nicaragua, plus some details about our motivation for joining the Peace Corps and the work we did as vounteers (Nicaragua 1998-2000). Enjoy.
